We are a professional service, which is why we don’t treat it like a luxury, or a hospitality service. Andy has over seven (7) years experience.

We are allied health practitioners. To obtain a professional license, a practitioner must:

  • Pass a federal background check.

  • Complete 500 hours of instruction and practice in a professional environment. That is more than many other public professions.

  • Maintain academic excellence in order to graduate covering the areas of Ethics, All anatomical systems, Kinesiology, Modalities, and business acumen. We are able to refer patients to other health practitioners.

  • Succeed in passing a comprehensive written test called the Mblex. The pass rate is only 70% of all test takers on a nationally administered basis. Most people who have to take it a second time, fail again. I passed on the first attempt.

  • Complete continuous education on a bi-annual basis.

No additional fees.

Handwork / Swedish

Typically called “swedish” style massage, handwork is a medium-to-light pressure approach that focuses on the comfort and relaxation of the client.

Deep Tissue Therapy

A more therapeutic approach, this style uses a heavier hand that our customers describe as “hurts good.” Pressure is continuously monitored by the practitioner for optimal results for your session. Used appropriately, techniques using forearm, fists (no punching, we promise), elbows (we don’t throw them, either).

Trigger Point Therapy

Anatomy knowledge is key here. Trigger points are specific muscle points that demonstrate unique or “exquisite” sensitivity to pressure due to injury or strain. Pressure is applied with the fingers in specific points in the muscle to alleviate the problem.

Stretch Therapy

Stretch therapy focuses on helping you loosen muscles that have tightened up. This approach can improve your range of motion and overall flexibility.
